Who would have thought project fear would turn out to be project it's even worse than anyone could have imagined. Brexiteers have destroyed many a dream of their countrymen.
Except it isn't. It's worse than anyone could have imagined because our politicians proscribed making our life worse than anyone could have imagined via lockdowns, shuttering the economy, supply chains, printing loads of money, taking on lots of debts, huge waiting lists, enforced vaccinations or you lose your job ... or you can blame Brexit.

What's your opinion of George Soros?

If you are going to troll, try to have a specific line of conspiracy theory rather than a scattergun approach. Your current approach is too obvious and a bit dull.

Just say no mate. Go on, admit it.
there's that but there's also the fact that he seems to be claiming that it's a relief that once again Britain is sourcing its food from New Zealand just like it did pre 1972. I can't imagine NZ supplied much food to the UK over 50 years ago, at least not to the levels you'd be nostalgic for.
The whole clip is nonsense.

Yeah, the magic era of Britain being 'alright' is something quite a few older folk I know cite when we chat about Brexit. I wasn't alive then, but my suspicion is that then, as now, quite a bit was crap and some parts of life were alright. Its never perfect, life, right?

I see the IMF have had to revise their forecasts again regarding the U.K. economy and now suggest growth will be higher than Germany, who I can only assume are also suffering from Brexit…….
Wasn’t really the full story though was it Pete …. The IMF don’t expect any changes until at least 2025 at the earliest

Edit … In living standards

I see Germany is now in recession, bleeding Brexit strikes again. Oh no wait, I expect there will be lots of excuses and reasons why this has happened, Covid, Ukraine War, Energy price rises etc…good job we didn’t have any of that……
