SOVEREIGNTY THOLol. Nearly all of which was true before you left and all pretty much amounts to "standing on our own two feet".

But you did bother @peteblue. That was your best shot. You’re right though, it really didn’t take much thought to review it.
You have tried to invent a need for people to write you a list of EU benefits, but we’re not in the EU now. Best to stick to Current Affairs.
If the idiot bluffers who got us into this mess which is partially due to Brexit had prepared properly, perhaps things would be better, but rather like your list of benefits, we are left with a mush mash of half truths, hope for the best and jingoism. Still, who knows, in “some years” time......
Read what I wrote. I’ve no interest in joining the EU. I’d like those responsible for the current shambles to make Brexit work. After all, it’s going to be great....isn’t it? (In “some years” time of course).lolSo, you’ve got no benefits for joining the Eu then…fine…..

I don't suppose many Hong Kong citizens will have moved to Lincolnshire, for instance,
This is quite a good list.We no longer have to adopt compromise laws made in Brussels
We know who initiates and brings in our laws and they can be thrown out of office by U.K. voters alone.
We no longer pay into funds to subsidise new entrants and yet another level of Government
We have our own Foreign Policy and cannot be held back by vetoing by such as Hungary
We are free to agree trade deals without approval of 27 other countries
We have scuppered the pretensions of building an EU Army
We have removed the excuses from Government blaming the EU for their own failures
We are a Sovereign country again, good or bad but it’s our choice…..
Johnson never thought for one minute that Britain would exit the EU. He didn't want Britain out of the EU.My initial reaction to this was to fume at Johnson’s rank hypocrisy. But then I remembered he has absolutely no moral stance whatsoever and will do/say anything as long as it benefits him.
Brexit was about Johnson being PM, Ukraine joining EU is about Johnson being PM again. Total consistency!

Revealed: secret cross-party summit held to confront failings of Brexit
Leading Brexiters and remainers, including Michael Gove and David Lammy, met for two-day ‘private discussion’ with diplomats and business leaderswww.theguardian.com
Going well then...
Strange bedfellows indeed.... still, first steps to changing the sheets is admitting you've shat the bed.Pob and Mandelson in the same room agreeing about things is profoundly worrying.
