As far as I'm aware they're stopping our products as per the rest of the world. There has been increase in export certification from the UK side; but in all honesty I've had no real involvement with exports - for the last 3 months we've been putting contingencies in place for July 1st, only to be told that it was delayed then fully scrapped for a new approach.Yes. Suppose you make the argument it's reducing 'needless bureaucracy', the UK deciding to not be bound by the EU, choose a ridiculously misinterpreted piece of EU legislation they says 'salt is banned' or 'we can't have bendy bananas' and you'll have leave voters clapping while tucking into their anthrax infected cow burgers. As far as I'm aware they're stopping our products as per the rest of the world. Now, self regulation will easily free up trade routes but it will be at a massive detriment to public health. Unless they come up with a real "rabbit out the hat" play, I can see this going belly up for 2 reasons; 1) they're rewriting something, that has taken Europe years in to implement, in 3 months; 2) Jacob Rees-Mogg is overseeing it.
We could be handing over our safety to food companies whose sole purpose is profit. Why follow pesky rules when we can sell modified meat at a larger profit margin
not sure it matters, plenty who voted leave trusted Cameron, May, and Johnsons inept governments to implement and oversee the transition.Voting for Brexit is one thing but trusting this corrupt and inept government to implement and oversee the transition is insane.
Loving how it describes Spanish driving lessons and documents, roughly the same costs as taking your driving test in the UK, as 'eye watering'Brits in Spain aren't a happy bunch. Would appear deals can't be done over lunch.

It is if you don't speak Spanish and the Brit helpers get their hooks in.Loving how it describes Spanish driving lessons and documents, roughly the same costs as taking your driving test in the UK, as 'eye watering'
I honestly could not understand why folk thought it was a good idea that our nutty overlords should be allowed to diverge from European standards, which were always a minimum, so we could arguably implicitly apply higher ones. Which of course does not happen. Did people really think the British Government would suddenly be demanding higher standards? Lol, no, they'll just cut through the 'red tape' as you say and we'll all be eating McRat with Fleas. Or sommat. As far as I'm aware they're stopping our products as per the rest of the world. Cutting red tape sounds much better than lowering standards or removing safeguardsI honestly could not understand why folk thought it was a good idea that our nutty overlords should be allowed to diverge from European standards, which were always a minimum, so we could arguably implicitly apply higher ones.
