I

got shot down yesterday for suggesting the survey on who worked where in the uk was no more than a survey others claimed it was something way more scary against immigrants - Yet on Question time last night the USA have been doing this survey for years with USA companies?
USA-ian's are well known corporate fascists, so what do you expect. What do you reckon to cutting the 'red-tape' on gun licenses in the UK ?

She actually said "regaining control" , not restricting......a subtle difference

"Theresa May has given her strongest indication yet that the UK’s exit from the EU will lean towards a “hard Brexit”, suggesting that regaining control of immigration was more important than access to the single market."
Do you actually believe what that woman utters Pete ?

That's merely semantics Pete.

Single market access will require freedom of movement that has been made abundantly clear from the off, she's seemingly shut the door on it, based on HER perception of what drove the vote.

You are a fool if you think that 17 million+ people in this country are bigots and xenophobes over immigration. Immigration is the tag that people like you have latched onto, and paraded it around in order to pour scorn on those who voted out; those who know and knew better than to stay with an organisation whose ruling members in the main do not give a [Poor language removed] about Great Britain, and have attempted to do some pathetic sabre-rattling to try to unsettle us since the 'out' vote.

So give me evidence of massive economic pain for the UK in the future (you did talk about the future with that phrase, since you used the term: 'going to result'. Enlighten me and everyone else with your crystal ball, please...

You haven't a clue about low income and the impact it has, and how it shapes their life. I worked among it all for over 30 years, so don't parade that [Poor language removed] in front of me. The Government of the day, by way of setting benefit rates, and all the ancillary amending regulations related thereto, dictate the income of those not in work. And that's a fact, like it or not.

This is undoubtedly an emotive topic but please watch your language.

Yes Andrew Neil mentioned the fact May cited no EU courts expels us immediately from the single market on Brexit - It does not mean we can trade as we want with our European neighbours on trade negotiations outside the single market it also means that way it will not take years as they would be foolish with the car industry set up!

Again, you show a lack of understanding about the 'leave' decision taken by 17 Million+ people. If you think the sole issue was immigration, then really, you have no idea about a whole slew of things that influenced the 'out' vote. And for as long as that remains, then there really is no point in discussing things further with you because, as I have said before, you just clutch at straws, your latest being May.

I'm not going to even bother to read your further posts, let alone reply to them, as it is a total waste of time...

Mate, I'm on your side of the fence, but your posting has been borderline demented.

And I respect that.

But this thread needs to stay alive, ease up on that pedal and focus on making your points, you got this.

It's not like, it's a different word that totally changes the drive of the sentence.

Really the USA is a fascist country??????
Funny they trade with EU single market without the rules they have also get away paying no membership fee!
so the EU you love deals with a fascist business country then giving them free membership????????

One pays duty Joey, and there are rules, quite a few in fact.

Btw I don't 'love' the EU.
