I read yesterday that Manchester Airport almost make as much from car parking as they do from airline stuff.
You get 5 minutes (5£) to drop someone off thesedays. Pick up you don't get much more time (20?). If you exceeded that it's quite a bit more I believe. People just circle the airport and park in lay-bys now instead.

The cost of sovereignty is more red tape, all hail Brexit.

Well at least the fish are happy. The express having a head wobble over Boris fishi surrender, funny!

Looked up the pay rates for those jobs on offer the baggage handlers are on penny 's above the minimum wage £9.63 , plus 22%shift allowance the shifts cover 24 hours 7 days a week.
Security jobs are £11.63 hour plus the same 22% shift rate.
Can't see people wanting those baggage jobs , it's hard work and if they are understaffed even harder, no wonder they can't keep hold of staff.

And in the other news away from offshore immigration management in Rwanda. Cornwall, previously received that larger amount from the EU as it is one of the poorest and most disadvantaged areas in Europe, that hasn't changed for the better due to Brexit/COVID, the very opposite.
Anyone who lives there, or has family living there, is well aware how desperate the situation is becoming.

Hollow promises from millionaire MPs, Lobbyists and dubious shills financed by kleptocratic foreign interests, Brexit in a nutshell!

The crazy thing is that a majority in Wales and Cornwall voted FOR Brexit, despite being warned that this would happen. Turkeys voting for Christmas, indeed.

Now we have to suffer the consequences for decades to come.
How did they vote re Johnson's Brexit?

I Don't Wanna Get Wise, sang the millionaire rock musician as he pontificated about the glorious Brexit.

“I just put in planning permission for a building on the farm and just to get the planning in its cost me something like £40,000. It’s f***ing ridiculous. Who the bloody hell’s got that?”

One of the reasons we are in this mess. If we wanted to reform our planning system we wouldn't need the EUs permission ffs.
