Welcome back Wayne
Just because you don’t like honesty……
Actually I do appreciate your honesty, and while Corbyn does have a number of decent traits he has a number of failures, not least the fact that he’s not really a leader……
Just because you don’t like honesty……
But Jeremy Corbyn isn’t an option any more and it’s the Tory’s who are in power, so it would for now be another Tory.Strangely enough I’ve asked this question many times in these threads. Until Chewbacca mentioned Jeremy Corbyn, and I give him credit for at least doing so, every person I’ve asked made some flimsy excuse, like you have just done, not to give an answer……

I mean for sure I’d at least take Sunak, he’s not actually a national embarrassment like that buffoon.
Looking at the current cabinet, yes it is shockingly bad, but there has to be at least half a dozen in there who could at least get some sort of sense and an ounce of credibility back into their party.
Facts are though, as bad as he is, Starmer as a statesman, professional and human being is a big upgrade on that rancid tub of custard you seemingly get hard for.
It’s largely because it’s a pointless question as any answer would be laughed at by yourself. I would argue about 3/4 of your own party and the majority of all other MPs in the house, if you want me to include names off the top of my head I could say Caroline Lucas, Mhari Black even effin Kier Starmer simply because he at least appears to understand accountability and decorum. May was a better PM than this clown.Actually I do appreciate your honesty, and while Corbyn does have a number of decent traits he has a number of failures, not least the fact that he’s not really a leader……
Can you just give me a couple of Boris Johnsons strengths please?Starmer as a statesman. He called every major call wrong during Covid, from wanting to stick with the Europeans to lifting restrictions. God only knows how many stances he’s had on the EU, and as he’s tried his very best to bury Corbyn, he hasn’t even got the full support of the Labour Party. Like I’ve said many times Boris is the best of a bad bunch…..

Never was a Corbyn fan boy but at least he has principles and appears to be slightly aware of the struggles of your regular Joe.
What we are seeing now is a lack of critique from yourself just because Johnson gave you the Brexit you wanted. The whole notion that leaving the eu would mean our politicians became more accountable is proven to be a steaming pile of BS.

Okay, an easy one from the list of those who were in the leadership race alongside Johnson. Rory Stewart. He's clearly intelligent and capable, and seems to have some actual morals, which alone would make him much better than Johnson.
I chose him as he was an actual alternative to your hero during the leadership campaign, and I wouldn't say he was perfect, merely better than Johnson. I'm trying to pick someone from the Tories to be fair, and that's made quite difficult due both to my lack of knowledge of the Tory backbenchers and the fact that Johnson has stuffed his cabinet full of absolute cretins. Maybe Tobias Ellwood? He generally seems to come across quite well.
Incidentally, I'm curious in what universe Johnson fulfills any kind of leadership requirement. You think he's popular, I get that, but popularity isn't a leadership quality.
Narrator: Pete never saw these. Won't see them even now. Classic Pete. This was barely two months ago
It's pretty much only Pete that thinks this and anything he says should be disregarded because he's a complete nincompoop.Imagine actually thinking Johnson is “a leader” lollollollollol
That seriously has to go down in GOT folklore?

He was a direct opponent of Johnson in the leadership election, so was certainly a viable alternative to Johnson. Dominic Grieve was another capable MP before he was purged by Johnson in favour of sycophantic dolts like Dorries and Patel. You initially nominated someone that wasn’t even an MP anymore. I’ll give you that you named Ellwood so I must apologise…..
