I'm not sure you really get it, do you? He broke the law that not only we were expected to obey but people have been prosecuted for breaking. He then lied repeatedly about that law breaking ever having taken place. It's like you have absolutely no [Poor language removed] standards for the person charged with leading our country. You may as well have a crook like Putin in charge. It's all you deserve.

Comparing Boris with Putin now. As of yet, the Police have not said he broke the Law, anymore than Starmer did when he had a few beers, and no doubt anymore than a million businesses did with their staff. Just because you really really really wish that it could be proven, as of yet, unless you have some information that no one else does, it’s not proven. Like Brexit, you really need to let it go and realise what is actually important for the U.K…

We have what we have I’m afraid and the alternatives only get worse…..
Pete, now I am retired as a Civil Servant I can finally express my views. Politically I am probably right of centre economically but I was an active trade unionist all my life. If I lived in the UK I really don't know for which party I would support.

While she was a PITA many times, I respected Thatcher. Similarly, she apparently respected Haughey although it would seem they were so politically far apart.

However, the current UK Government appears to be bringing your country into ridicule and perhaps worse.

Our own Government seems to be performing well in this crisis although there are three different parties involved.

I grew up in abject poverty, proper poverty not the crap spoken about today because they haven’t got the latest trainers. There is no such thing as the ‘good old days’ they were crap. Today, life is better, and I want a government that will continue to make our economy better and our people better off and safe. Considering the crap of Covid we’ve been through over the last two years, we are doing ok…..
Classic, gotta gatekeep that poverty from back in da day. Everyone now is just a moaner and a complainer, no poverty exists.

Nice one Pete, very normal.

So how many parties did he say he attended, then say he attended, and then....?
He's a proven liar.

You need to give it a rest, even Starmer has worked out that Boris has got away with it and that there are a few other things in the world more important than a glass of wine…..

Tbf, people back in the 50’s and 60’s experienced poverty that today’s people could not comprehend. This is why I say there was no wonderful past. People had no money, they had little in the way of clothes, technology didn’t exist and life was pretty miserable. Of course today poverty means no iPad , or an older one, cheap trainers, and a 7 year old car….

Hahahaha, you're an actual disaster.

Like you I was a centrist, with socialist tendencies, and was a union rep, then I grew up. Thatcher changed tha world in more ways than the lefties will admit. The current government are doing OK. They sorted Brexit and sorted Covid, they are now addressing Ukraine. They’ve had a lot thrown at the tbh, and for me are doing OK…..

I'll 'give it a rest' when this fraud and rest of the rabble have been booted out of government. Talking about fraud....

Sorted COVID by forgetting about the old folk and they died in their tens of thousands. Rewrite history all you want, Pete but their handling at the start was an absolute shambles! Always one step behind.
