Welcome back Wayne
I considered NI. I think everyone in my family did. And anyone I discussed it with tbh
Excellent, can you pull up your first mention of this in this thread…….

Both Corbyn's have zilch influence regarding the situation in Ukraine, a bit like De Piffle, whose acting the Billy big bollocks fools nobody, especially the Russians.
Perhaps that's for a Russian gangster thread. Though we have not got to the bottom of the Russian involvement in Brexit - where plainly Putin wants a divided Europe.
But I don't understand what you think leaving the EU has achieved. I liked freedom to travel, reliable food standards, peace, etc.

I didn't vote for Johnson. But I voted in the UK parliamentary elections. He was the leader of the party with the most mps. Our covention is that gives him first shot at forming a government.
I voted in the EU parliamentary elections. From nominees for president put forward by member states, a majority of MEPs choose the president.
That is pretty democratic. And it would be a mistake to imagine the EU president wilds anthing like the power of the French or US president, or UK pm or German chancellor.
Any political system can be improved. But you have to be in the EU to exercise influence in its institutions
If only it were so simple. Putin leads a kleptocracy. Some on the left hark back to the happy days of stalinism. There may have been fewer beggars in Moscow in the 70s, but millions starved in the 30s, many in Ukraine. You‘re just making excuses for them both and the left wing protesters who never protest against Russia…..

I think you will find Starmer has been calling for tougher action in sanctions against Putins regime, and against Russian money laundering. Sadly our Usmanov is likely to make that cut.
I am intruiged to know where all the reports are of left wing rabble protesting in Britain against Ukraine's threat to Russia.

Where are the tories demonstrating against russia btw?
Oh no it isn't. But you are welcome to search for Northern Ireland in posts by jammyp if you want to get some more pointers. That’s the same link mate…..oh and over a year after the vote….
Ffs - what is Her Majesty's loyal opposition asking for.Sorry my friend, but the U.K. government (the tories) are leading European condemnation over Russia and it’s encircling of Ukraine. Tories have no further need to ‘protest’, our government is doing it…..
