It just goes from bad to worse. The just in time supply chain has been decimated and it’ll make a difference to the foods we eat and the prices we pay for it. Cue panic buyers buying up all the pasta and toilet roll again, even though there’ll be no shortage of it.

So, apart from food supply problems, relaxing rules on HGV driving tests, pumping excess excrement into rivers and seas and growth of 0.1% compared to the Eurozone's approximate 2%, what did Brexit do for us this week ?

Never fear, the Sunday Express has the answer :

Has expected all checks are delayed by a significant period, physical checks by 6 months which will mean we are now 18 months behind schedule

Lads, this is a mess. I have been in the thick of this for 4 years now; it’s the most incompetent approach to anything I have ever witnessed. It’s a travesty

Did you not see the colour of the passports and the crown stamp on the beer glass?

Incompetent? I don't think so

That can't be right, @arminisgod told us everything is great and Brexit is working out brilliantly for everyone and he's the most reliable person on here

To be fair, if you don't really do much with the outside world, and you benefit by your market not being able to do so much with the outside world themselves, it probably is great. Given that we're supposed to be "Global Britain" though, it's a bit of a shambles.

Brexit outside Britian...

"The last thing that Johnson, the man who led the Brexit campaign in 2016, wants to do is allow his opponents to claim that Brexit has not only cut Northern Ireland off from the rest of the UK, but knowingly put additional pressure on both finances and stability in the region.

This could explain why Brexit Minister David Frost said on Monday that the grace period allowing goods to flow from Britain to Northern Ireland would be extended, with no fixed end point.
This, naturally, has allowed the EU, the long-time bogeyman of Brexiteers, to take the moral high ground, reminding Britain that the Brexit deal Johnson willingly signed is a legal treaty.

These issues, while important, are far from the only post-Brexit embarrassments that make Johnson's "oven ready" claims look a little silly."
