But that is just moronic on both sides the EU and the UK.
Just because a country (any country) isn't part of the economic
trading bloc doesn't (or shouldn't) mean that you cannot cooperate
and exchange policing and criminality data?
Think you will find it's been the same, well since trade was a thing it's not unique or invented by the EU. And of course this is another example and working reality of "project fear".

I assume you knew that we would lose automatic access to EU police/criminal records when you voted to leave, so what you moaning about?

Out means Out, apparently.

And yeah, it is/was moronic. Thanks.

It doesn't say we will not being able to cooperate (unless we don't meet the EU standards) it highlights the loss of 'automatic access'. Let's not be confused.

We had immediate information that was available to us previously, which we now go cap in hand for.

You've voted to make the UK less safe, UK police has lost access to SIS II (info on movements of criminals and missing persons) which UK police checked 600m times in 2019. We also depend on EU police forces to upload their alerts to Plan B system too.

Our policing intelligence and as such security of UK will be less safe and we are diminished from the position we were previously in as a member of the EU.

There's nothing there about not cooperating. You just lose automatic access to the database, what else was supposed to happen?

The Brexit crowd really did think they'd keep all the best bits of being in the EU while doing whatever they want otherwise, didn't they?

No. I expected to leave the EU and all it’s institutions. Apart from trading with each other or going on holiday, I want nothing to do with them...I wanted the U.K. to stand on its own two feet and recent events have reinforced that view even earlier and more forcefully than I expected....

And we're now all more at risk from Serious Organised Crime as a result.

Well done lads.
Those suits on Thread Needle Street (city of london) are salivating at the prospect of further money laudnering.

I suspect the bigger risk will be from drug, gun, human trafficking gangs.

I always felt that your views about the EU were a bit wishy-washy, and desperately needed some sort of reinforcement.

It does nobody any favours calling a virus Chinese

Also, there's evidence of covid popping up in various places pre-January 2020. It could've quite easily come from anywhere.

im mean... yeah right.

Hmmm... has it come from a wet market in a country famous for eating anything that moves with no regard for hygiene?

nah.. more likely to have started in Moldova
