But that is just moronic on both sides the EU and the UK.
Just because a country (any country) isn't part of the economic
trading bloc doesn't (or shouldn't) mean that you cannot cooperate
and exchange policing and criminality data?

From 2018. All of these issues, which were clearly raised by both the EU and remain supporters, were palmed off as "project fear".

No. I expected to leave the EU and all it’s institutions. Apart from trading with each other or going on holiday, I want nothing to do with them...I wanted the U.K. to stand on its own two feet and recent events have reinforced that view even earlier and more forcefully than I expected....
So you don't want the likes of Oxford to be able to develop vaccines? Because they're quite open about being able to do that because of European funding.

Bruce, we too have money, and if one thing good comes out of this pandemic it will be scientific funding within the U.K. The petty, vindictive EU can keep its money....
Yes, but just like with the Turing replacement for Erasmus, we're not substituting like for like but doing things on the cheap, so our world leading universities will suffer from a drop in research funding at a time when many are also suffering a fall in income due to fewer overseas students.

So you've basically voted to make things worse, which was what the sector predicted and you dismissed as "project fear".

How are you so sure that everything will be worse....has something happened to our research over the last two and a half months ......

I suspect the bigger risk will be from drug, gun, human trafficking gangs.

not likely - I mean, when was the last time you heard of a Parliamentary Select Committee carrying out an inquiry on behalf of drug dealers, human traffickers or gun runners at which the cops who correctly convicted them were hauled over the coals?

One of those, Anthony Cook, tells of a great 7 years in Spain, but now he’s on his way home, he told Global247news: “The Spanish dream is over for me, it’s time to go back to Cardiff, it’s been a blast but the new regulations have made it impossible to stay, I don’t have enough credentials to become a resident, it was so easy before, get your funds in from the UK, do a bit of cash in hand around the likes of Benidorm and bob was your uncle, but that’s all changed now – hey, don’t be fooled thousands of Brits in some guise or other have been doing the same thing, especially in the entertainment industry!

” Anyway, it’s time to head home, the freedom of movement has gone, and I don’t want to end up getting deported and fined,” he said.

Just seen this in a news story. By "funds" I assume he means government money, then works on the side paying no tax in either country. Absolute scumbag.

Quote from that article. Really hope it’s not made up.
Another returning at Malaga airport today was Shaun Cromber who despite voting for Britain to leave the EU, didn’t believe it would end his Spanish lifestyle, he said: ” Yes I voted out, but I didn’t realise it would come to this, my application has been rejected and we are on our way home – the wife is in tears, she’s distraught if I’m honest and I’m not too happy at the prospect of returning back to the UK.
Lol
