I had a call yesterday with the CEO of a very successful French fintech company. He said while philosophically he was very sad about Brexit, from a competitive standpoint it's been great for his business as it pretty much removed his London-based rival from the landscape in a swoop. I was tempted to tell him to just wait until his British rival had learned how to fill out forms correctly, but bit my tongue.

Article in "le monde" today. Heading translates as.
"after brexit the status of the British citizen in the EU is that of a Chinese tourist"
Says it all really.

Did he describe why his London rival had been removed, presence in Eu or whatever ?....
