Nice story Pete, we don't have the ability to enforce those checks 'cos, yanno, Johnson and his freak show.

We are applying the standards set out by our government who agreed to this situation. I assure you that labelling will be the same standard for both sides. Trucks are going back empty because our government decided to agree to a deal at the last minute, when they had the option to extend, without setting up sufficient infrastructure, simply as a vanity move to live up to a promise regardless of the fallout.

No we never Pete, we have transitional period because the country would have to a standstill on the 1st January 2021.
