Do you have evidence that GB isn't?
So you don't actually think France, for example, is being OTT?

Nice story Pete, we don't have the ability to enforce those checks 'cos, yanno, Johnson and his freak show.I think our Politicians and civil service can, on occasions, be naive. We also did it in respect of Eu nationals in the U.K. and we have done it again over this. We try to ‘play fair’ and the EU just laugh at us. But it was the same when we were in the EU and that, unfortunately on occasions, is the difference between us.....
We are applying the standards set out by our government who agreed to this situation. I assure you that labelling will be the same standard for both sides. Trucks are going back empty because our government decided to agree to a deal at the last minute, when they had the option to extend, without setting up sufficient infrastructure, simply as a vanity move to live up to a promise regardless of the fallout. No, we should apply the same standards. At the moment EU trucks are pouring into the U.K. full of goods and going back empty because of this. If we apply the rules exactly the same nothing moves in either direction and then they will all sort it out....

No we never Pete, we have transitional period because the country would have to a standstill on the 1st January 2021.Of course. And our companies will soon get on top of it all. My complaint is that we are not applying the same standards because we decided to give them a six month period to get up to speed, yet no reciprocal offer from the EU....
That smart sovereign border is looking decidedly short, time to shake the money tree...
The stupid were ready for no deal.we were ready for no deal though
The stupid were ready for no deal.
They say ignorance is bliss...the stupid are ready for everything
