How dare they want a better society , never voting for Labour again.

Momentum is a people-powered, vibrant movement. We aim to transform the Labour Party, our communities and Britain in the interests of the many, not the few.

Our proposition is simple: if more of us come together, we can use our skills and energy to tackle every challenge head on. Using our collective power, our campaigning, networks and tech, we can transform society for the better.

From our view of the Labour Party, to how we change Britain for the better, we’re up front about where we stand.
Very idealistic but you know that will never happen. Anyway we are going around in circles so let's leave it there

I can agree with all that. The press will and always have demonised the Labour party. It will happen at the next election. But my fear us that this idiot and his chums will be elected again. Hope I'm so wrong!

That's the problem we have on this country, no matter who is in charge with Labour the press will find an issue and push it to the extreme while singing the praises of Boris Johnson.

Murdoch has never lost an election in this country, whoever he backs always wins.

I'm not sure what it is you want me to say Pete? I've already said that the approval of the vaccine clearly took longer than both the UK and US. The EU hasn't been responsible for the French government's handling of the rollout of the vaccine any more than they were responsible for the good handling of the pandemic by the Germans during the spring.

I’m not sure either tbh Bruce, I’m just posting in between lessons with my granddaughter. If you just state that ‘the EU is crap and we should have left years ago’ then I’ll call it a day....

Pete: ok, what's 2+2?
Granddaughter: it's 5.
Pete: no it's 4.
Granddaughter: no it's 5. In my opinion it's 5.
Pete: it's 4. Here is the mathematical principle...
Granddaughter: we'll have to agree to disagree.
Pete: no we won't, I know numbers, it's 4.
Granddaughter: we can't know for sure. Maths can be wrong and it's only accepted practice.
Pete: we can know, it's 4.
Granddaughter: let's wait and see shall we?

The EU has rightly or wrongly taken longer to approve vaccines, but it's not to blame for France's slow rollout
Slow startup in France is partly due to starting in EPIHAD care homes where protocol required signed approval from patient and their GP.
Secondly they are setting up vaccination centres mainly based on local regional hospitals. Special methods are needed to store and use the Pfizer vaccine.
First priority is to be given to the very old, then to medics, paramedics and others likely to be in contact with the sick.
Health minister has stated that all over 75s will be vaccinated by the end of the month.
