So Pete makes a joke about your computer autocorrecting a word, you make the exact same a joke back to him (seemingly oblivious to the original subtext). I point it out to you and you get all haughty and say it was a 'pathetic jibe'.

There was no malice intended in my post, it wasn't a jibe.

Of course we were aware of the subtext (at least I certainly was), but there was no malice involved and that's why we thought it was funny and not in any way sinister.

It was only your posting that pointed to any intentional malice. But that posting was also sufficiently vague that it could very easily have been aimed at me. When I asked you to explain your initial post, your next one was equally vague. Your 2 posts below.
