Just a reminder to both sides really, it's not just about throwing money at things, especially so when there are bad faith actors in play.
She's certainly making a bad fist of test and trace.

But when I was talking about money spent on NHS, I wasn't including anything to do with covid.

Seems an odd tactic to have made a claim about NHS funding, stick it on a bus, conducted a huge PR campaign about it, drive it up and down the country with that bus, make it a pillar of your campaigning on TV and Radio when 'everyone knew it was a lie'.

Begs the question - why bother?
I agree

It was disingenuous as I said. I've always held that view.

It was just an effin equivalence mate! Am I going to have to explain this again!?

Was that the "finance director"?

I mentioned a mate, who was a Finance Director in some post in the past and the irritant who I have on ignore, some planning keyboard operator, tried to make something of it, as if it were a big deal. It probably was for him mind. But why does anyone think that having friends who also occupied senior positions in companies is somehow out of the ordinary. Is it just jealousy or a subconscious understanding of their own inability to succeed. These are just the people who I grew up with or now live in the same locality and I drink with. Here’s a list of the others for amusement, CEO x 2, MD x 3, Farmer x 2, FD x 2, Builder x 2, Gamekeeper x1, Houndsman x 1, Solicitor x 1, Army Officer x 1, Lorry Driver x1, SME Business owners x 3, Police Officer x 1.....you and Jebus can knock yourselves out.....

Sounds a bit like my pub, (back in the day like), that.

Lob in Carol Vorderman getting absolutely hammered on Thatchers cider, and thats a good night.

As I said he admitted "whether knowingly or not". He doesn't have to explicitly say the words for it to be an admission.

"Every thinking man and his dog": Read the Independent article about how many people believed the £350m lie/myth whatever you choose to call it. Cummings himself said it was "necessary to win".

Your final point makes no sense. Why would I vote leave when it was clear that the claim was complete bull? I saw through it, sadly loads of people clearly didn't.
In fairness, you telling Pete to believe an article written in the Independent is no different to him asking you to believe a story written in the Mail. Both are heavily biased newspapers that play to their customers.

Very difficult to find a truly none partisan media outlet these days.

So Cummings hasn’t admitted saying it was a lie, it’s an interpretation. So you saw through it but the likes of myself and other Leavers didn‘t have your brain power or political perception. Remainers are a wonderful superior breed aren’t they. Oh, and the one thing that paper is not, is Independent....

She’d make a great regular in our pub. We do have one who looks a bit like her but she is rubbish at maths.....
