Well Pete, I am a different person today. I am no longer a citizen of the EU with the right to be living where I am. I am an outsider, a foreigner, who is only able to stay here with the permission of the minister of the interior of France. What have you missed from your previous Eu membership today....
Maybe a Cornish Pasty complexion Bruce.A pasty complexion?

Yes France may get awkward I am old enough to remember them burning English lambs on the border as they were superior quality meat before we joined the EEC in 1973 .......
I remember Ted heath just taking us in without a vote on a free trade policy - meltdown in the UK it settled down - we never ever voted on a political union - till 4 years ago .....
It may be bumpy, but in history it will settle down e are now an independent country free to trade worldwide, they will kick up if we thrive so let's hope we thrive .......let them form their EU army .........the cost of that we will not have to pay for .......

I flew in to Gibraltar Airport. They looked at my passport. Having said that when I go to the Canary islands and you go through they still look around everyone's passport even though you were in the EUIf you're coming through the Spanish border you need something to prove you are British.
I've been there at least 20 times on cruises and not once had to show my passport
Same in Grand Cayman which I think was mentioned earlier
Democracy? You must be joking. How can a country with a voting system which gives a political party an over-all majority of 80 seats, with a share of the votes of 43%, be considered as being democracy.?Close this thread we have left the EU by democracy end of -
