'haha jokes on you, I was right all along when I guessed 2+2=4!!'

How are you even asking a question like that this long into the discussion - genuinely baffling.
No because all the remainers ever do is put up reports and comments about how Britain will be affected. As Pete says it works both ways

How long do you think it will be before one of Eurosceptic MPs stands up in the media/Commons, after a high profile unexpected consequence of this agreement and declares that 'it is a disgrace that we weren't given enough time to scrutinise the deal'?
Not very. Given that 12 months ago they lauded their ‘Get Brexit done’ deal as a triumph, won an election off the back of it, signed it and then all voted for it, then 9 months later decided it was a an affront to sOvRiNteA and passed legislation to break the International treaty they’d signed.

Only this time they’ve made sure they can change anything they decide they don’t like, without Parliamentary scrutiny or debate. Taking back control and all that, as we had a Democratic deficit yano.

It depends what benefits you are looking for. 95% of U.K. businesses have no dealing with the EU, yet 100% of our businesses have to obey EU law and whatever bureaucracy they determine. The EU is a protectionist bloc, with tariffs and additional VAT going into their coffers while keeping the price of food from around the world high. 85% of world trade takes place outside of the EU and our % of trade with the EU was declining year on year. Breaking free from EU law will allow us to invest how we wish, to work with those we wish, to simplify trade with other countries, to allow us to do quicker and more advantageous FTA’s. In short we will have many new opportunities which will turn into benefits. We are still locked into EU law until 11.00pm this evening, after that the ‘benefits’ are whatever we make of them, no excuses, no hiding places, no blaming the bogeyman in Brussels...if we fail it’s our own failure, if we succeed we grow and benefit......
@BlueDraka I think this is some of that guesswork you're so keen to point out. Pete doesn't know this, the Government doesn't really know this either.

'all you ever do is put up evidence and analysis to support your answers...it's about time someone started seeking answers to very simple questions that anyone who has any sort of basic understanding should know'

You can just respond with a laughing emoji if you like to hide your embarrassing lack of understanding.

That 95% is a completely misleading stat and if you don’t realise why that’s the case then you either don’t know what you’re talking about or you’re being completely disingenuous.

That the whole point. Nobody knows what will happen. Id rather go with Pete's optimistic view and hope that he is right than the pessimism than most remainers have.
I hope following the Pied Piper of utter bollocks works out well for you.

Surely you can understand why many don't want to put their faith in magic beans though?

You probably have a lot more understanding than me. Most people just want to get ion with it now. Which is shown by the very few people who post in this thread.
The remainers on this thread may be right in the long run. But as I always say no one knows yet. People can post as much stuff we they want about brexit but it is all mostly educated guesswork. Some things will change for sure. But over the passage of time most things will settle down and become the nirmal Forgive me if I actually hope that the UK does well for the sake of everyone

I understand and respect people's views. But we come back to my recurring theme. No one,. Not remainers,. Not leavers no what will happen yet. But we are going around In a circle. I'm going to stick to the Everton stuff mostly now.. have a good New Year remainers and leavers.

We all hope the UK does well...questioning the logic of something you can demonstrably say has reduced individual freedom, made trade more difficult, made it more difficult to access security information, made it more difficult for the UK service industry does not change that.

You might even suggest people are highlighting it so as to ensure the UK has a better chance of prospering rather than simply 'surviving'.

Or you could say people are moaning and dismiss it all as 'project Fear'.

Probably for the best. Just try not to get drawn into any more unpleasantness about 'White Lives matter' again.
