Before your head explodes, my post about Bruce having a crystal left ball was in reference to his humorous comment about the left one being colder than his right one...but please carry on being aggrieved....

I was fully aware. I’m also fully aware of how often you’ve repeated ‘no one knows what’s going to happen’ as if forecasting and planning were just guesswork

Can I ask. Do the EU states have frictionless trade with us? Do they have to do all this so called extra paperwork when they export to us. Genuine question because all I have seen is that their will be a mountain of paperwork for British companies. Does it work both ways? If it does it would be in the interests of both to make it easier for us and the EU
You honestly cannot be seriously asking this question.

People will adapt and survive. Sorry we don't know yet if they have failed. We wait and see
Adapt and survive ffs.

People voted for Brexit as they were sold the idea that it’d improve their lives, yet here we are talking about ‘survival’.
(and before the usual suspects pipe up with - I knew it”d be [Poor language removed] for years, but I voted for it anyway, I’m not talking about you and your entrenched revisionism)

I’m still waiting for someone, anyone....to explain the tangible benefits of what we’ve just signed up to. All I’ve seen anywhere, is, well it’s better than no deal. Which is akin to saying that only shooting your own toes off is preferable to taking out the entire foot.

Christ on a bike.

How long do you think it will be before one of Eurosceptic MPs stands up in the media/Commons, after a high profile unexpected consequence of this agreement and declares that 'it is a disgrace that we weren't given enough time to scrutinise the deal'?

Mad the pride some people take in saying ‘I don’t know anything so I will mock anyone who has tried to learn about it’
The main argument of ‘no one knows what the future holds’ is a pretty poor one when discussing international relations and economic planning
Sorry I haven't mocked anyone????

How long do you think it will be before an arch remainer stands up and says I was wrong?

It depends what benefits you are looking for. 95% of U.K. businesses have no dealing with the EU, yet 100% of our businesses have to obey EU law and whatever bureaucracy they determine. The EU is a protectionist bloc, with tariffs and additional VAT going into their coffers while keeping the price of food from around the world high. 85% of world trade takes place outside of the EU and our % of trade with the EU was declining year on year. Breaking free from EU law will allow us to invest how we wish, to work with those we wish, to simplify trade with other countries, to allow us to do quicker and more advantageous FTA’s. In short we will have many new opportunities which will turn into benefits. We are still locked into EU law until 11.00pm this evening, after that the ‘benefits’ are whatever we make of them, no excuses, no hiding places, no blaming the bogeyman in Brussels...if we fail it’s our own failure, if we succeed we grow and benefit......
