Tempted to feel sorry for them but nah...

Committed the cardinal Unionist error of getting too close to the British Government and was given the complete runaround by them. They got to go in and out of Downing Street for a while and feel important, and she and her cohorts in the DUP entangled in a corruption inquiry got away with it, but they've pretty much been tricked into allowing a united Ireland through the backdoor to happen on their watch. Now Foster postures for one last time to put up an objection to a fait accompli.

The EU had a parliament from its inception.
It had an unelected assembly. Voting began in 1979. The biggest gravy train in history.
France also insisted that it moves for a few weeks every year costing hundreds of millions of Euro
A parliament that sat back and did nothing when a member state terrorised a part of that country that wanted to gain independence. Imprisoned lots of its leaders.
No not England against Scotland. We gave them a vote which voted to remain in the UK.
Spain against the elected Catalan government.

You seem confused. You complain about the EU taking too much power away from member states and also that they are largely powerless to stop member states acting as they wish. What is it you want?

So you believe that the EU was powerless to act against Spain. You seem confused.
He voted to remain dontcha know??
What part of the UK are you from?

“(Reuters) - Britain and Turkey are set to sign a free trade deal on Tuesday, the first since Prime Minister Boris Johnson secured a new trade agreement with the European Union, the Financial Times reported on.ft.com/2WM2JRB on Sunday.”.....
We bought a load of ppe that didn't work from Turkey so now we are going back for 2nd hand lawn mower engines.

This is a good video I think. Instead of focusing on what can’t be changed, gives warnings for what to expect and watch out for in the future. Expect to see most people rolling out lines like ‘both sides lied’ or ‘all politicians lie’ as a way of excusing this behaviour and keeping the lack of accountability rolling on.

Interesting you left out the next paragraph saying "The two nations will sign a deal that replicates the existing trading terms between Ankara and London,". So no change then.

Apparently we are hopeful of a future bespoke deal so let's when/if that arrives and what form it takes before patting the government on the back.

But most on here said that the U.K. would never be able to replicate the EU deals, yet here we are again with another one done. No one is pretending otherwise......
