Well either we have the deal that’s on the table or we have WTO trade. Labour, SNP and LibDems really need to make up their minds on this. No more playing politics, just make a choice.....
I agree, they'd better get on with it. In my view the Johnson deal is far inferior in many aspects to the one we had as an EU member nation.
However a no deal would be catastrophic for the nation.
They'd better back the Johnson deal and shut up. Far too late to start protesting now.

Starmers got to explain that though, say what we are losing, all the antics of this government and that it’s only the horror of no deal that is behind the vote.

Is Keith's army voting FOR the deal?
If that's the case then what used to be known as HM opposition has now ceased to exist.
Rip.

The LP need to vote it down. Even if they try and curry favour with the racist proles in the northern towns they lost in 2019, they still wont be seen as the racist option they seek on the ballot paper in 2024...they'll simply keep voting Tory because that sort will always identify with race/ethnicity rather than class.

Starmer is an effete metropolitan as far as they're concerned.

May as well stick with your principles...but Starmer has none. He is the ultimate triangulating, hologram politician.

Another typical BBC headline sticking it to the Brexiteers. It’ll be interesting to see the reaction to this from its largest shareholders, who happen to be American...

I wasnt aware a company can remove voting rights anyrate. And how they would be certain of someones nationality is also a mystery.

And like you allude to, the largest shareholders are likely to be institutional ones. Assuming they are public ltd cos that is. Most odd.

It depends on whether or not he wants Labour to look relevant or not. Obviously the minor parties, SNP, DUP, PC can stamp their feet with their own nationalistic audiences, but unlike the LibDems who are just the EU party in the U.K., Labour is a U.K. wide party and needs to be seen playing the adult in the room. Like you, I don’t rate Starmer, but he’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t with this one, the National good versus Party politics.....

Depends on the Company articles and the types of shares owned, but I can’t ever remember something like this happening before, but I’m sure one of our city or banking type posters will know. It’ll be interesting though.....

He's inauthentic. That is toxic for any politician. He cant both keep the Remainerds and take back the racist proles 'oop north' in the former mill and mining towns.
