I have no doubt in saying that I, with my comprehensive school Maths, Chemistry & Physics A Level, am cleverer than 75% of the cabinet. Surely the thickest bunch ever to run a country.
Its more to do with enriching themselves and whoever their cronies are... In that they manged to get significant of voters to commit self harm, in the referendum and 2019 election.

"We are embarked now on a great voyage, a project that no one thought in the international community that this country would have the guts to undertake, but if we are brave and if we truly commit to the logic of our mission - open, outward-looking - generous, welcoming, engaged with the world championing global free trade now when global free trade needs a global champion,"

All fancy words for deregulation and scrapping employment protections, kerching!

Yes - and all they got was peace, money, freedom to travel, freedom to live and work anywhere in the EU, frictionless trade and cheaper safer food.

Those gullible fools! Now where did I put that blue passport?
So will there be no freedom to travel? Will there be no cheaper safer food? Frictionless trade. All I heard before a vote was even heard of Was business owners moaning about how much paperwork they had to do to comply with EU rules.
Peace,. NATO protects us not the EU.
Money. Did the EU give us money. Think we always paid a lot more in than we got out
Freedom to live and work in the EU works both ways.

I’m not so sure that they are thick, they all appear to have been well educated, but like most of today’s politicians they lack a degree of real world experience and understanding.....

Including you. That's if you actually did vote remain, and you're not really just a troll/previously banned poster.
I did believe in the EU. When it was EEC. Then it moved away from just a free trade area. It got a parliament , the Euro. We should have stayed as it was. I voted remain probably jut to keep the status quo. Now that we have left we need to get on with it

Eh ? You heard wrong. The massive increase in paperwork which export businesses will now have to do and the delays it will cause because of Brexit is only just about to begin.
The peace referred to is the peace between member states after centuries of conflict, not protection from external threats.
But you reaped that back several times over in inward investment. Pooling resources is for mutual economic benefit, not greed.
Except that that you won't be able to travel freely and work in 27 countries anymore but this only applies to 1 country for EU member states.

But go on deluding yourself that the benefits will just roll in.

So who is the UK going to go to war with in the EU? I must have missed that.
There will be some paperwork then it will settle down and become natural
As you say YOU I take it that you are in a different country??
