You like the remaining leavers would not be here in this thread if that was really the case. And if the evidence was in favour of this deal those who think this is just bitter racist endeavour, would be long gone. Nowhere near finished this just rumble on and on.

Utterly pointless posting these, but needs must after cringe overreact Johnson
Johnson exhaustive list of broken promises...

The devil will be in the detail.
That's why he got in by 80 seats .....I like many others would not vote for Corbyn so I never voted .....
I admit I did vote Brexit like 17.5 million voters did - democrocy should always take place .....
The cost of it all the delay of it all our Parliament the speaker at the time caused all this ......Remainers trying to overturn a democratic vote......

How's your Italian mate @Joey66? You know the one, you said he voted in the referendum to leave and it turned out he couldn't vote!

It was a negotiating ploy and I said so at the time. It wound up all the U.K. Remainers but it hit home with the EU that Boris was different to May and all the other arse lickers. It was probably the single most important act in helping to deliver an FTA.

Countries are queuing up to sign deals with the U.K., either Turkey or India will be next......
As a negotiating ploy it was on a par with any of Baldrick’s most cunning plans.

Look at us everybody, just in case you were in any doubt, no we can’t be trusted.

I take it you fully support the free movement conditions that India has stipulated as pre-conditions of a trade deal ?

I really love the fact that both Sturgeon and Blackford have gone apoplectic because Boris has done the deal.......
Listened to Drakeford, it's the respect of being in the loop of events. Johnson may not agree or want to pull back devolution, I can assure he will have to embrace it to change it. If Scotland leaves the Kingdom Wales will follow. And Queenie will no longer purr, that might actually be worth it, I digress Think it telling there has been no update for a month which coincides with Biden winning and messing up no deal.

I don't want to rake up old coals @Joey66, but your explanation is still insufficient for your mate to qualify for a passport! Hope your health is holding up and you had a good Christmas?

As a negotiating ploy it scared the crap out of the EU.

I have no problem with free movement conditions in FTA’s.......

It became apparent quite a while back that there will be no financial benefit in the short to medium term and
impossible to know beyond this so the focus of the discussion moved on to the importance of sovereignty regardless of the cost. Which is going to be most interesting going forwards with India etc.

Don't Wales will havea vote tbh. Don't think they could be a country on their own. Scotland could leave and will probably do ok. The SNP will always want independence and never respect a no vote. Sounds familiar!
Had to laugh at Sturgeon saying the Scottish fisherman had been sold down the river by the brexit deal. If and when they get their independence and apply to join the EU we will see what kind of deal they will give the Scottish fishermen
