Nope.

And some wonder why the EU insisted on maintaining a level playing field. Reason: this charlatan is a proven liar and can't be trusted

Trust in BJ (or lack of) wasn't the reason, see China/EU link I posted above, they apply it to other negotiations as well

The strategy promotes reciprocity, a level playing field and fair competition across all areas of co-operation.

It does seem like this wonderful trade deal gives both sides tariff-free access in manufacturing, which is where continental Europe is strong, and woeful access in services, which the UK is strong in. But yeah, good job o_O Throw in the huge reduction in our freedoms that we already knew about and it's hard to see how this is in anyway better than what we previously enjoyed.

Wonder which topic is going to dominate the next general election, as the review is up in it's cycle .. ' I can get a better deal than you, no you cant , yes I can, no you can't, yes I can...

As we are a sovereign country we will no doubt in time go our own way can't see the EU allowing this if it effects them negatively and we could very well and up with Tarriffs as the penalty.

Those managing food sector are sceptical of the term 'tariff- free' used by Johnson.

They don't need to allow anything, the deal has a break clause that either side can activate if they wish after a four year period

The EU and UK agreement over Brexit allowed both sides to review the deal in four years time - enabling the government to choose a no-deal Brexit or closer alignment

The 'break' clause will allow the European Union and the UK government to bring the agreement to an end if they are not happy with the arrangements.

Is there anything on stage aid as if

And in the meantime be decided by a committee which will see the EU in essence sit on and decide.

See also they will cast an eye over state aid and impose tariff if they see it detriment to the EU, big concession if not biggest for any leftixteer. The coming days and weeks will be painful for all Brexit...

Obviously the trade deal cannot be as good as being part of the EU, how could it. But having left the EU it is not a bad deal upon which to build a different relationship with the EU and allows us to strike out on our own. The CEBR having reconfirmed that the U.K. is still the 5th largest economy, above India in 6th and France in 7th is forecasting that the U.K. economy will be 20+% larger than France within fifteen years. Instead of the usual scorn on here, the younger posters should be thanking the older leave voters for their foresight, intelligence and perseverance.......

You only ever see things in one direction. For instance on state aid, which the U.K. rarely does yet France and co use on a regular basis to prop up their businesses, it works both ways. This is a new relationship between the U.K. and the EU ....
