So, have all the leavers who insisted they wanted and voted for no deal all along, now greeted the imminent deal as a success or a betrayal?
If they really wanted no deal then they'd probably see it as a betrayal. I'm glad we seem to have a deal personally.

I also don't give a crap about all this winning and losing nonsense, but I've no doubt that's what's going to be filling the pages on here over the coming days.

That’s fair. I’m very much a remainer but am delighted that it seems some sort of deal is on the cards. For my money the best deal was the one we already had, but firmly believe no deal would have been chaotic, and a lose/lose for everyone.

Sadly I think the likes of Farage and the hardcore leavers, will be unhappy with any deal, and will declare that any deal is not “true” Brexit for quite a while.

Well you got to do your laughing emoji at Pete calling me an arsehole so I hope you feel better about yourself now.

(The third party narrative clearly not lost on you in that post :coffee: )
Works both ways mate. I'm sure I won't have to delve very far to see you liking a post that is detrimental to me.

And there was no third party narrative in that post to confuse me. Pete was replying to one of my posts and very clearly referring to you in it.

Anyway, let's leave it there.

I see that the SNP have quickly found another grievance, seed potatoes. The EU will not allow their export to the EU and it’s worth a few tens of millions to Scottish farmers. So of course the SNP insist that this Westminster and Tory sell out and betrayal of Scottish farmers needs Scotland to become independent......

Yes it does mate, but I'm not decrying the lack of civil discussion and getting uptight about it am I?

As was mine, but yet here we are....

Merry Christmas (I'm specifically saying that to you in case there is any confusion).

Wouldn't be the first time England turned a neighbouring country's dependence on potatoes against itself tbf
