Genuine morons
Or what the reaction would be if, after a phone call from Johnson, the Commission changed their stance, without consultation with the other member states.I imagine if Merkel wanted to call Johnson to go over the head of Frost it'd be just fine though.
Honestly Brexit is basically driven by the false concept of British exceptionalism, where selfish tossers have fooled gullible idiots.
If it was just those who voted Brexit who'd suffer, I'd happily see it happen. Unfortunately there'll be millions of innocent victims of this folly.
You do know that now that the terms of the Irish Protocol have been agreed, any person from any EU country can literally walk over the border into the UK and take a boat or plane to Britain without any checks taking place ?Im afraid it does Bruce. You may not like it... but it does.
A citizen of the UK gets to vote on policies in the UK, foreign nationals living here do not.
I got to vote on whether I wanted mass uncontrolled immigration into continue and I voted No.
Thats the harsh truth

You haven't 'taken back control' of your borders at all, have you. Your only land border with the EU will be unmanned without checks. That was a lie you were told and fell for, hook line and sinker.
That's the harsh truth.

More than likely the same as me, oh tell that tit to fk off,I just wonder what goes through the head of somebody like Angela Merkel when she sees a clown like Boris Johnson.
Eh? Que?But can't work
You are all completely missing the point. By suggesting speaking to Merkel and Macron, Boris is showing the U.K. that he is trying everything to do a deal. When Macron and Co undermine these efforts the U.K. will support Boris in any no deal and will blame France for being a pain in the arse and Germany for sitting on its hands. My only fear is come Sunday that Boris gives in even more. Just walk away, stop this charade and let’s get on with our lives. The pain we take from a no deal will be almost bugger all compared to the financial pain of Covid. Just walk away......
Excuses as usual... Blame it all on covid..your last stand as it will be De Waffles...You are all completely missing the point. Sadly I fear it's "you" that's missing the point Pete. The EU is a collective of 27 nations so why would speaking to Merkel make any difference? Instead, it's a huge insult to the nations he's choosing not to try and single out. The Dutch, the Swedes, the Poles, the Greeks, all of whom are not worthy of his slathering attention. That's why his oafish behaviour is so insulting to the EU and why it's been so firmly rebuffed. They are negotiating as a bloc and he has a representative to speak to from the bloc. If he's too stupid to realise that after all this time then I hope to god that you will do as you have always said you would and hold the bloody fool to account the next time it comes to cast your vote. You are all completely missing the point.
