"Not everyone who voted for Brexit is a racist, but all racists voted for Brexit" is the best way of summing that up.

There wasn't a reason for a racist to vote Remain.

I dunno, I’m not so keen on that phrase. What I do think though, is that as xenophobia was an undeniably large part of the brexit movement, how does a (non racist) brexit voter, feel about being part of a vote where that played such a big part.

Personally I’m not especially au fait, when it comes to trade deals or ‘Eu meddling’ My vote to remain was mainly based on the fact that I saw brexit as a little Britain, racist movement so voted remain.

Anyways going round in circles here aren’t we. Haven’t a clue what’s round the corner but I’m hoping most people will be ok and this toxic atmosphere relents.

I’m disappointed that this disgraceful statement continually gets repeated on here. It is deeply insulting to leave voters to have this continually thrown at them as though they would have any truck with racists. But while Remainers continue to throw insults at those who voted to leave it no longer shocks me, because they no longer have any real input into the debate. Today has been filled with personal attacks, accusations, and then now the inevitable racist card attack. Almost no leavers bother to post in here anymore for very obvious reasons, and even though I’ve tried to continue to keep the debate alive find that the personal abuse isn’t really worth it anymore...so enjoy Brexit and enjoy whatever deal is done or not. You can have great fun debating with yourselves.....
