Not saying you're wrong there as that's what most people do. it's actually exactly what this thread has become for remainers.
Don't know how they can't see Boris' oven ready deal for the work of diplomatic genius it is. Echo chamber!

It's refreshing for me as all the friends I have who were staunch EU flag waving remainers, are now ardent No Deal Leave voters.Don't know how they can't see Boris' oven ready deal for the work of diplomatic genius it is. Echo chamber!
good luck for the new journeyYeah it seems that way. Was planning on teaching but there are quite a number of jobs for English speakers and remote working.
There has been a growing sentiment of racism towards many Brazilians that have moved there and Africans. I know it’s not a utopia but I’m happy to leave the U.K. to be honest. Feel more and more like I have little in common with most folk.
Not at all, a really good mate of mine, a Finance Director, was an out and out Remainer and we argued a fair amount about the merits for staying or leaving. He maintained his position and voted remain. He maintained this position for about another year or so. What he said made him change his mind has been the behaviour by the EU in relation to our exit. The whole thing has shone a torch into the workings and individuals within the EU in a way that he had never really seen before. He has not been impressed and is wanting a no deal to ensure we properly cut the cord. I didn’t convince him, he just worked it out for himself...

You don’t convince anyone.I didn’t convince him,
Must be the only insane Finance Director in the UK who is happy with the damage this could be to his company.
Unless he is retired, has no skin in the game, and can take his frustrations out on the EU.
he changed his mind before negotiations took place in earnest?
I admit he is now retired. But he is a forceful character who knows his mind. Apart from his initial Remainer view, I respect his views on most things.....
Fantastic Lies and Where Pete Finds Them
Yes, he didn’t like the approach. You have to understand, or maybe not, that developing a good deal for both sides is normally the goal. However, from the very beginning, the EU have a major political angle regarding their Project. This is what he couldn’t get his head around, business is business and they very early on didn’t want a win/win...
Kinda what I said.
No skin in the game. Would have been more concerned with the impact on his company if still worked, but happy to believe the marginal "gains" versus the potential chaos now it wont impact on him. (until it does, then its everyone elses fault).
And the UK dont have a major political angle?
Come off it. Johnson is gonna have to explain/sell whatever fudge we end up with.
