The problem with this though is that makes them (in international law terms) not refugees, as they haven’t asked for help in the first safe country they’ve come to.

I wish this myth wasn't so widely accepted as fact.

I always thought it was international law that a fish had to claim residence in the country it was caught in.

Not sure about this being brought into the UK from Norwegian waters. Why are we relying on Norwegian fish, can't we just catch British fish?

Need to scale this type of talk back. It was purely about Sovereignty. We've just haddock enough of EU interference in our laws.

Agree to have annual talks re quotas and access.

I think this is a sensible offer to the EU, obviously they will reject it and demand more but this should also be acceptable to our own fishermen providing it has steps for each year.....
