Radio ads have changed from explaining what a ball ache going on holiday next year, (that includes winter skiing, covid allowing) will be, to what a nightmare hiring an EU national for a job will be. "Licences will take up to 8 weeks", loving the Wins being lobbed about.

I think this is a sensible offer to the EU, obviously they will reject it and demand more but this should also be acceptable to our own fishermen providing it has steps for each year.....

The fish were non negotiable not so long ago, now it's not even by-catch. As life time hobby boat fishing feel sorry now as I've always done for all those skipper's who thought they were stakeholders in UKs Brexit... Might even go back to one who banned me from ever boarding again to dare admit in the middle of the Irish sea, that yes I voted remain, " told ya so"...

I see the EU are taking legal action against us, that should go down well...they still don’t get it do they, this is precisely what we want to get away from.....

I don't know what Brexiteers were expecting, maybe blame, but not so easy...

The EU is rules based trade bloc, we are in the process of breaking international law so the EU will apply the rules.

I suppose other countries are now watching and if we want trade deals with them ? I expect we'll have to give more in the way of concessions due to breaking an international treaty as trust and good faith will no longer be applicable commodity for the UK...

The interesting country to watch now is Japan, the deal with them has been agreed in principle. However, they could decide not to ratify the deal. If they do, then that'll be quite hard to blame the EU. And of course Japan has a trade deal with the EU...
