Oh, why not

Apart from Barnier being French and last time I was taught history the French were also on the wrong end of the lufftewaffe. And any other subject Barnier would be regarded as proper right old Tory biffter. :hayee:

Wasn't he the bloke that thought proroguing parliament to prevent it debating the very withdrawal agreement we're talking about here was a fine and dandy thing to do?
This is why it makes me laugh seeing people be duped by one good thing a tory does (#thankyouRishi!!), quick look into the ''UK's most popular politician'' record and hes just as scummy as the rest of the tories

Indeed Rishi, the eat out to spread it about.... Perfidious albion was defined for characters such as him, one of the lads is our Rishi... Not!

So people not understanding what the true meaning of Sovereignty actually is, is the fault of those who do?

Right oh.
I love the theory that sovereignty is some conceptual idea that doesn't have to be explained so as to alleviate brexiteers of their responsibility for getting had off by a pack of crooks

Would love to know how far down the rabbit hole we have to go before an ardent brexit supporter admits that, with hindsight, they made a mistake.
We now have Boris Johnson as PM as a direct result of Brexit. Unbelievable

Quite a way, considering their default position to all this chaos is that its everyone elses fault.

Remind you of anyone?

I just wonder what the breaking point would be. We’ve already seen racism and xenophobia largely legitimised, have a government in power who only get rid of people if they disagree with them. At what point does someone ask themselves whether it was all worth it?

My guess will be when it affects them.

Like, when we all went Covid lock down, one prominent Brexiteer was quite brilliant with schooling his grandchild, was excellent in his reopening of his pub and making it Covid safe, and has been a solid citizen, Covid wise. Cos it affected him. (Not a dig btw, just an observation).

So lets see.

It's an inner state of mind that is unbeknown to us folk. They don't mind being poorer or having less opportunities. As long as they don't have to sit next to someone foreign on the bus...
