You guys just need to relax. The big boys and girls are playing the game. The Eu wants a good deal for the Eu. The U.K. wants a good deal for the UK . So who do you want to win ? This isn’t hard, you are either for the Eu or for the U.K., unfortunately I think I know who’s side you are on......,and every post after this will confirm it.....

In this simplistic fantasy world, which side should my wife be on Pete? Or @Disgruntledgoat or @spectateur ?

Aye aye, Nigel's had a shandy

I’m glad you’re back to tell us about the intricacies of the Japan deal, which you obviously know all about. So are you for the EU or the U.K. in our negotiations, simple question really.....

How did the UK:JP trade deal - all but signed at that point - nearly get scuppered at the 11th hour over a row about Stilton? And who was the one person - a single individual - who nearly wasted '000s of hours on both sides on this bizarre instance on a product we only export £2m to Japan for?

:hayee: But you know best, hey Pete. I'm sure you can get your hands on a recent copy of the Spectator to confirm cos it was in there too apparently...

I don’t have a clue, apparently you do so spill the beans. Meanwhile are you for the U.K. or the EU, simple question which you have so far managed to duck...

I can claim no inside knowledge Nigel, it's in several publications.

Both, I am very frandely and care about everyone.

Another quick question Nigel. When we try and negotiate the UK:US FTA, who exactly are we going to be negotiating with?

Of course you are.

I‘ll take a few guesses here and say you are a low level Civil Servant.

You know nothing about the negotiations.

You are an absolute Remainer

You vote Labour

You want the U.K. to fail in its negotiations with the EU

You hate Trump....

Wrong on lots of points there Nigel. There are lots of us like @nsno-chris who are regularly plugged into this stuff and try and inform you, but you won't listen. And why would I want the UK to fail? I rather like the place.

Are you a little bit drunk at this point?
