If you don't mind me observing, you seem to have a bit of an inferiority complex when it comes to our German friends Pete.

For me, you only have to look at the respective leaders of both countries to see the different world they occupy at the moment. Merkel will go down as a titan of modern history, Johnson's only legacy will be featuring alongside the likes of Ronald McDonald and Pennywise in "Famous Clowns" quiz rounds.

I have no inferiority complex of anyone. This is why I know the U.K. will do very well on its own. You and your ilk obviously need Europeans to tell you what to do. Boris is doing ok....
