"Within two years, before the negotiation with the EU is likely to be complete, and therefore before anything material has changed, we can negotiate a free trade area massively larger than the EU … The new trade agreements will come into force at the point of exit, but they will be fully negotiated"
David Davis

And we are still held within the transition period and lawfully cannot sign a trade deal off until we fully exit......meanwhile, as I asked you, is there anything else that you believe the government should be doing at this point.....

Not panicking mate. Just waiting to see exactly which of the bollox you swallowed actually turns up. That technology that you said would solve the NI/ROI border for example.

Dear God, it’s like the transfer thread in here. The U.K. and EU are still negotiating....

That's the transition period that we were told would be very short, definitely not extended, and that would not require us to either pay into the EU budget or follow EU rules during?

In answer to your question, I would like the government to start telling the truth.

You know perfectly well how the Remainers in the HoC, together with that disgrace of a Speaker, stitched up Brexit and the Government such that, time wise, we are where we are.....it wouldn’t matter what the government said, you won’t believe it anyway... meanwhile do you have any views on what else the government could be doing in regard to trade deals....

The MPs who were elected?

The MPs who were elected?

Correct, the same ones who voted to have the EU vote in the first place, the same ones who all agreed to abide by the outcome, and the same ones who have since been voted out of office at a general election because of their duplicity......

Stop reading the Guardian or the ludicrously named Independent.......

The University of Vanderbilt Pete.

Always the victim...

With regard to trade deals, I've said many times that the single market has been so valuable because it goes a long way beyond the kind of tariff-related issues that are usually covered by trade deals. I'm a globalist, and believe that the world is better when we all work together on key issues. Adding or subtracting tariffs on this, that, or the other barely scratch the surface.
