need me to dig out the quotes from carney and osbourne for you ?

Yes please. If you want to know what aspects of the so called 'Project Fear' have not come true, then it would be helpful if you could at least define precisely what you regard as 'Project Fear'. You've preached about holding facts to account barely a few posts above this, so I'm sure you're not going to welch on a bit of work now. It's a term created by the leave campaign, so what did the leave campaign think it meant?

for sure, and as a previous poster said most of project fear is coming true then I look forward to you returning the jesture and listing all those things that have come true that were deemed as nothing more than project fear.

Were you aware of these things prior to the vote or not....just so we're clear what we should be expected to dismiss as something you didn't look out for?

Must be loads of brexiteers who've cunningly organised themselves fishing trawlers to replace the EU ones that will be forbidden from British waters from next year cos they all knew exactly what they were voting for and will have taken the opportunity to exploit all the possibilities that they knew to be inevitable.

Once they've finished working the fields. Patience.

Not really work when Osbourne was quoting from this

Treasury Report On Effects Of Leaving The EU

did any of it come true ?
(I will exclude anytime since covid as has been pointed out it would skew figures no matter what the vote)

I could mention being 'at the back of the queue' (Obama) and Trump saying we will be at the front, but it's Trump and he makes Johnson look like the paragon of truth

Will check in later once I have finished whittling myself a trawler and finished my crop rotation

As has been said a few times over the 4,500 thousand pages of this thread, that document was crafted on the proviso that we leave the moment the vote was cast, which obviously didn't happen, and we've remained either fully in the Union or part of a transition period whereby we're effectively in it ever since. There was also a dramatic printing of money by the BoE the morning after the vote to halt the pound plunging and shore up the economy. That even with (if I recall) £150bn printed we've not only had lower growth than would ordinarily have been the case, but anemic inflation, shows how the economy has faltered since 2016. Even now, we're in the process of signing the first trade deal in history that will make trade harder, not easier, and somehow trying to spin that as a victory.

In a nutshell. Played mate.

Maybe, now we have control and that, our brand new US, Japan, and China deals will be super improved than the old EU ones.
