And you fail to see that technology has advanced since the 60/70's? Do you think it's still the same devices and methods being used for things?
Yes ok but it's a big swing from Iceage to heat in less than 50 years it's a money making racket!
No doubt benefiting the EU with polluting our country and sea side with horrible to the eyes wind farms !
All funding by our rebates waste of money they have to turn them off in a galelol

One of the best things about science is that it's wrong a lot, so people have to keep re-testing old theories.

Up until the 1950-60s scientists believed that Earth's continents have always been like they are now, but it turned out they're not, which was probably what you've been taught in school too back then.

Also GLOBAL warming isn't UK warming, hence the name 'global' - global temperatures rise by a few degrees every few years, ice caps melt, water levels rise, seasons blend into one, but somehow that's apparently a money making racket?

Do you believe the Earth is flat? Cuz scientists ages ago claimed that as well? Or that the universe is static and doesn't expand or contract, despite scientific proof of the opposite for both?

Ice caps melt in the artic warm period when the human race had no access not reported now with all the modern transport they go there to film it falling in the sea if they went back A few months later it would be refrozen - look the temperature has risen a wee bit the alarmist boffins latch on to it politicians pay them well to scaremonger big business guided by the EU make money coal could have been cleaned to use but why bother just import it from Columbia!
The USA and China ignore Global Warming in practice attend conferences promise the earth then carry on they still produce Coal, and steel respectively our steel works crippled by EU laws!

Were the EU not responsible for helping us clean up our polluted beaches?

But according to the University of Durham research into this, the field would produce more methane if it was retained for agricultural use.

Animal agriculture is a bigger issue like but fracking delays energy transition
Of course its all a bit academic cause the uk is a tiny proportion of worldwide emissions but people like to virtue signal

Yes we now have very powerful computers, which may or may not have very clever programmes. What hasn't changed is that big Yellow Hot thing up in the sky. The Sun is not affected by anything we do, the planet is arranged to cool or warm up irrespective of what we ants are doing, meanwhile that big yellow thing has the odd hiccup every now and again and has a massive impact upon our planet. It is the most arrogant who believe that this big planet of ours affected by that humongous Sun is really changed by a few humans, who cover almost nothing of the planets surface and none of the sea, that make the difference. Just like the EU vote, you see the small picture, while those of us a little older see the bigger picture........
