But the thing that disappoints me the most is that, almost to a man, to the remainers on here the issue of Brexit is totally black and white. Anything that goes wrong is because of Brexit, and anything that goes well is despite Brexit. If there is any bad news it's because we voted to leave. You said ‘if it can’t be blamed on Brexit it didn’t happen’, which imo was plain daft but I only speak for myself. We’ve always had reasoned dialogue haven’t we? I’ve certainly never called you a wum, a Nazi or thick, so why the victim act to me?

I thought your assertion that U.K. automotive manufacturing would have somehow died anyway, irrespective of Brexit and due to electrification was glib, baseless and inaccurate. You appear to have taken offence to me having that view and giving my opinion on why that view might suit your pro Brexit stance.

I’m still waiting for someone to explain the supposed benefits of Brexit and I’ve certainly not seen any in the context of this sector.

As for you wanting empathy for your Brexiter views, I’ll save my empathy for those who’s lives it turns upside down thanks all the same, those who lose their jobs in the automotive manufacturing sector for example, or those who’s continued residence here is causing them untold stress as it’s being questioned in this ‘hostile environment’ the Tories and Brexit have created.

Welcome to the club, mate.

Some of us were getting malleted thousands of pages ago in this thread. A couple continue, but nearly all who voted Leave gave up trying to engage in meaningful debate a long time ago. No point, you just get the same old same old ridiculing, and attacks...

Just sit back and read/watch the angst in here from the Remainers.

i think it’s so we can all enjoy the glory of the sunlight uplands together .

genuinely i’m not sure why it should be closed the impact of this decision will probably last generations. I’m told it’ll be brilliant and I hope so so much , that’s not sarcasm we are where we are so I want it to be a fantastic decision and all the experts to be wrong . I’ll settle for someone telling me something as a start but in reality there is no reason to stop anyone talking about something of this monumental importance .

JLR export circa 80% of their U.K. production. Their total U.K. volume last year was only just over 100k units.

You? Engaged in meaningful debate? Yeah alright! I asked you a question about an aspect of Brexit, a 'long time ago', and specifically what you'd do about it. Your 'meaningful debate' answer was to say that you'd put some music on. Methinks you don't know what you're talking about, judging from this and the Benefits of Brexit thread......
