I just think the immigration issue played an unduly significant role in the referendum. Turkey joining imminently etc queues of refugees etc.

The most laughable thing about the immigration debate for me is that where the leave vote was highest (Lincolnshire) is where immigrants are most needed for agricultural work. There's going to be fun and games in these places in years to come one way or another.

There‘s no doubt it played a part. Not racism, just the fact that others were taking jobs. We of course need agricultural workers as our permanent unemployed have no financial incentives to do the work. But that is a separate issue......

Joe, you make it very hard, you really do. We've had several years of evidence with regards to free movement vs the managed migration you advocate, and those coming here via free movement are more likely to have a job than those we choose to let come to Britain. Can you tell me again why you choose to ignore this evidence and continue to advocate something that the evidence clearly shows produces less of what you claim to want?
The reasons I have spelt out Bruce if the UK revise its apprentice schemes as a priorit, and cutback the university way life weredegrees are now two a penny it needs a massive overhaul and then only then immigration will fall.....

But taking jobs the local layabouts wouldnt touch!

It is a serious issue though. It’s not just the effect about taking a job, it’s the effect upon conditions and wages. I have no doubt that for the lowest paid, mass migration is affecting both......

If only there were strong organisations that existed to protect workers rights and offer collective bargaining.........
