Why has fishing been elevated to the most important issue, genuine question? Has been mentioned in nearly every May/Johnson speech on brexit they've done for what is a small sector like you say. Guessing its either the imagery of taking back our Rule Britannia waters or keeping brexit areas like Cornwall on board10,000 people work in fishing in the UK. For me, fishing is just another minor yet important aspect of Brexit.....and it’s quite important for those in the industry....
