Current Affairs EU In or Out

ask them what they think about the following EU laws which they have to adhere to, and how the current/future extra work & costs associated with them counterbalance the 'benefits'.

- Green New Deal

You know the EU is made up of representatives of each of the member states, dont you?

missed that bit. just for the record, yes i know that. the point is the people don't directly vote for the policies the EU decide become law, laws which affect the daily lives of said people.

in democracy, the people get to directly decide which entity (party) creates laws for them. This isn't the case with EU, this is the main reason for Brexit and the main reason why many Germans would follow suit.

Why can't they follow suit? Because they aren't being allowed a democratic say in the matter.

France isn’t a country governed by referendums.They put faith in their own democracy by not having one
