My understanding is that if an election is called for 12th of December he is still legally within his rights to crash us out .. I don’t claim to be in the know about these things but it all falls within certain time restraints... if Johnson would agree to a 9th December election it doesn’t allow him the time to take us out... the 3 day difference is crucial

He voted against may’s deal twice, he now has a worse proposal and is bewildered that people won’t vote for it... how bizarre aye

No mate, I think it’s because there is a time when Parliament has to close down for an election. If it was the 12th, and work backwards, then there will still be time in the current session to debate and vote on Boris’ deal. If it’s the 9th then there won’t be.....hence why the LD/ SNP don’t want it.......

I can't believe people here are actually defending Corbyn, who can't even pass a course at a polytechnic in trade unionism. What a hill to die on!

A forum full of people from a Labour city who are opposed to the way the Tories have dismantled society over the past 9 years. Can´t understand why you are struggling to believe there´d be people on here who support the man who has fought back against it.

Supporting Johnson.

Might as well buy the Scum as well.

Dear god lads, playing the Scouse v Tory card doesn’t really work these days. There are people in Liverpool who are actual Tories, but of course they happen to be successful in what they do.......

Yeah, I kinda got dragged into it, when people disagreed with my statement on Corbyn being a terrible leader and unfit to lead the country. I mean, what's with the hivemind attitude, anyway? Can you not tolerate people with differing views? The way you, and others, behave towards anyone who doesn't vote Labour is very odd. You kinda make some of the things Johnson said in that snipped dannyboy posted look true. lol

can you explain exactly what Corbyn has achieved in ‘fighting back against whatever it is you believed has been dismantled’. What has he actually done, achieved and changed.......

Academic results mean more to me than what? It's not sinking low to question his intelligence... he wants to be the prime minister of the country, so I think I'm entitled to question such things about him. And yeah, Johnson, Eton and Oxford educated.. something I'd prefer in a PM.
I mean, earning a 2:1 at Oxford is far better than two Es at A-level and dropping out of a course in trade unionism. lol
Johnson went to Oxford because he was privileged.

I suspect, like throughout his life, he didn’t get there on merit alone.

No problem with Tories. The issue is with Scousers supporting THAT Tory who leads them now. That quote from The Spectator is enough in itself.
