Yeah, I kinda got dragged into it, when people disagreed with my statement on Corbyn being a terrible leader and unfit to lead the country. I mean, what's with the hivemind attitude, anyway? Can you not tolerate people with differing views? The way you, and others, behave towards anyone who doesn't vote Labour is very odd. You kinda make some of the things Johnson said in that snipped dannyboy posted look true. lol

No issue with people who don't vote Labour at all, I've voted Lib Dem a few times.

But, defending Johnson and being from Liverpool is scab level.

It doesn't matter, though. All politicians do lie. The only reason summerisle is moaning about Johnson lying is because he disagrees with him politically.
No, I prefer people to tell the truth, it's not much too ask, otherwise how do you base your judgement on people. If they are proven to lie why should you ever trust a word they say ?

A forum full of people from a Labour city who are opposed to the way the Tories have dismantled society over the past 9 years. Can´t understand why you are struggling to believe there´d be people on here who support the man who has fought back against it.
I'm not surprised, really. I expect it. Any divergance from the norm and you're set upon, accused of being the white british equivalent of an uncle tom. I know Liverpool is majority (not completely) Labour, and I've supported Labour in the past myself, but I'm not going to be bullied into being quiet because I have a different (and not even controversial) opinion. Yeah, I prefer Johnson over Corbyn. And what??

You are spot on with the ‘hive mentality’ comment, @Kurt has known sheep with more independent views......

Johnson went to Oxford because he was privileged.

I suspect, like throughout his life, he didn’t get there on merit alone.
No, he got there with the help of his family I imagine. We all help our children, don't we? We all try to get them into the best schools and whatever else we can. It doesn't mean they've not worked hard for what they end up achieving though does it?

Why bring race into it??

Strange one that.

Dear god lads, playing the Scouse v Tory card doesn’t really work these days. There are people in Liverpool who are actual Tories, but of course they happen to be successful in what they do.......
Not many.

And I’m very successful in what I do thanks, but absolutely will not relent on my view of the conservatives. Indeed, my success has come in spite of them so please don’t imply that non-tories are incapable of success.

can you explain exactly what Corbyn has achieved in ‘fighting back against whatever it is you believed has been dismantled’. What has he actually done, achieved and changed.......

There´s now more difference between the two main parties than arguing about how much they would cut. In fact, he´s managed to change public opinion so much that we´ve actually got Johnson pretending he´s going to start investing again.

Well then your “he had a better education” argument falls down a tad there, if you admit he got there because of help most others wouldn’t get rather than on pure merit.

He started young.
