There are opportunities, there always are but I'm looking at the economy as a whole and undoubtedly the economy has been damaged by the Brexit decision. That directly will affect most the poorest and most needy in the economy.

But you and others were saying that we would fall off a cliff, or WW3 would arrive, or an emergency budget would be required, etc etc. Even investment decisions seem to be going along just as before. There are many pro's and con's to leaving the EU....we already know and understand them for being in it but are just beginning to know and understand them for being out of it. The debate from both sides should have been far better informed before now, but we are where we are. Now we have to allow EU negotiations to get on with things while UK business and politicians get their arses in gear and get around the world and the Commonwealth. The poorest and needy will be looked after and will prosper if the rest of us do our jobs properly......

But if we had voted to remain what opportunities existed for the UK to grow our economy and assist the needy?
The economy was growing and had been since we exited the recession post the world wide crash in '08.

We've now voluntarily put ourselves back into recession, this means that those with the least amount of disposable income and those already struggling will be hit the hardest - as always.

The very same opportunities that the Cameron Government were espousing beforehand plus the certainty of a single market of 500 million people.

It's a rather odd argument to say things would get worse had we not voted to leave.

Are we in recession ?
