Depends on the Industry Bruce...the Fishing Industry would not agree with you....
An industry worth less than £1bn per year. I do hope that's not all you have?

I'll just leave this here0.1% of both our economy and workforce.
Boggles the mind.
We can dismiss the digital sector though...nothing to see there. An industry worth less than £1bn per year. I do hope that's not all you have?
Who would carry the coffins ?I've noticed that whenever I make a valid point it is either ignored, muddied or ridiculed. I can't see any reason to continue debating the issue. Makes no odds anyway as none of what we think or say makes any difference. Maybe we Leavers should march on London too. Just think of the boost in sales of wheelchairs, mobility scooters and Zimmer frames.
I didn't dismiss them, I said that i haven't seen where they 'suggest Brexit is a positive thing and that they prefer it to happen'. Genuinely interested to see it...feel free to link it.
I originally challenged your 'fishing industry' comment and countered with the computer games industry as a growing industry in the UK - which you have completely dismissed.
What is the contribution of the gaming industry in the UK vs the fishing industry in the UK?

You mean like a Belgian one.I‘ve held on to mine so I can get a nice shiny Blue one......
Eric the fish sketch from Monty Python featuring said halibut makes more sense than @peteblue 's peregrinations on Brexit.Maybe it's not discussed at any of Pete's exclusive meetings while they feast on halibut that was good enough for Jehovah?
Eggs, with respect, the bulk of the mainstream print media are owned by billionaires, who are sympathetic to the Tory party..I don't expect them to have a fair and balanced view of the Labour party in any shape whatsoever. However, the advent of the web has opened up alternative avenues and news sources where it is not a continual Labour -bashing Tory praising fest, and more people are using these as their information about various issues.....the brexit fiasco has unfortunately created divisions between folk in this nation and the blame for that lays firmly at the feet of Cameron who panicked faced by an unelectable Farage. And again with respect Corbyn does appeal to "traditional Labour voters" who left the party in droves after Blairs continuance of failed neo liberal ideology. I may well agree with you about the result of the next GE; if johnson and his ilk have another 5 years I fear the consequences will be catastrophic. This all could have been avoided.....not in the least. The core values are nothing if they become unelectable. They don’t need a pact with Murdoch, they need to be clever and look for ways of attracting voters who haven’t been voting Labour. It’s the strategic decisions. Corbyn appeals to Momentum but not to the country or even traditional Labour voters.
This Government is a mess yet could very well get 5 more years. That says a lot everything about this Labour. Rather than blame the press and everything else, the Labour Party has to look at itself because they are letting so many of us down.
By the way, I will still vote Labour at the next GE, but sadly I don’t think enough will.
There you go........pricelessEric the fish sketch from Monty Python featuring said halibut makes more sense than @peteblue 's peregrinations on Brexit.
The PM saying if this doesn't happen then he will have a general election. Only 3 ways that will happen:
- losing two votes of no confidence
- Parliament voting for it - 2/3 of MPs needed
- Bill through both Houses of Parliament
So, it's that annoying Parliamentary Sovereignty again...
