I know a number of countries have 'freelancer visas' that aim to make it easier for those espousing more modern ways of working, but there is no shortage of evidence of how tit-for-tat exchanges place one on a slippery slope, and if the government treat EU citizens poorly, then it's easy to see things sliding considerably.

I mean who would want to put anyone's life in the hands of this ghastly woman?

So, I assume that you're now independent of the U.K. No pension, no health care agreements, perhaps no longer a UK national. Otherwise there is no escape. You will be dependent on whatever the UK government decides for you.

I just got my Belgian passport yesterday. So I'm a dual citizen now. I can relax, safe from the machinations of either of that pair of clowns.

I just have Vlaams Belang to worry about.

no - those propositions were on May’s deal so these would not be fundamentally the same question being put to the House (so they could be proposed)

Different session after that vital Queens' speech (although did it even get voted on? Or is Johnson too frit to bring that before the house?) so not relevant, but my understanding is that Amendments that do the same thing can be brought back to different Bills (so the exact same 2nd Ref amendment is fine if it's being attached to a new Deal Bill) but the Bills themselves can't be substantially the same inside a single Parliamentary session.

Ignore the use of lazy national stereotypes... I've got international experience and get invited to gatherings for acceptable sorts. We're allowed.
