His comment about the sports media is laughable but agreed with him on his overall point. The press lets this country down on a daily basis, the level of coverage on the most important issues is in gutter and as a consequence it threatens our democracy.
Negotiations , or at least the article 50 was 2 years ago. There wasn't any negotiating until that happened so that year before was neither here nor there
Well the vote was to leave, so how about back to the country with the 2 options leave with the deal or leave without the deal ?
Sadly, there's no shortage of dumb people in the UK.But leaving without a deal is plain dumb.
Apparently it was because the EU refused to talk to us until article 50 happened.Fair enough but why did HMG sit on its hands for a year or more after the result was known?
Incredible level of lethargy regarding such a momentous issue.

I may be wrong but I don’t believe the Eu could have begun talks with us (or us with them) until after invoking article 50Apparently it was because the EU refused to talk to us until article 50 happened.
I only know looking a Facebook quote up before and found that on my travels.
Also what I was looking up was wrong so least I got something out of those minutes
It was something else on Facebook I was looking up.I may be wrong but I don’t believe the Eu could have begun talks with us (or us with them) until after invoking article 50
They never refused as you put it, but if it’s on Facebook then you know.. it must be true.
if we voted in say a Labour government and spent the next 3 years stopping that happening , through the courts parliament pulling stunts, left right and centre and a blatantly biased speaker allowing it![]()
Europe is fed up with Brexit, but it’s still best for all if Britain stays in | Timothy Garton Ash
Macron may have doubts, but if the deal isn’t approved the EU must grant the UK an extension – for its own sake as well as ours, says Guardian columnist Timothy Garton Ashwww.theguardian.com
We have elections every 4 years, the Brexit vote was 3 years ago, it is no longer the will of the people, there needs to be a vote before we leave.
