It’s not about being confident... it’s the timing. Johnson can’t be trusted to not change the date of an election which would take it past the 31st October thus enabling him to leave with no deal... it’s not rocket science

Take no deal option away and he will have his election

The opposition ought to take the opportunity of a GE any time there's a chance. Plus, Jezza would walk it if he came out for Remain. No doubt about it.
 
Aye, I don’t know who I hate more, Parliament, or the idiots who voted to destroy the country, and younger generation’s futures by voting for Brexit.

Obviously it should be those who champion Brexit, however, if you suffer a loss - as we did - you don't go chasing your losses. You'll only make your situation much worse.
