Yup.
Delay.
Yup.
You’d think wouldn’t you but I wouldn’t hold your breathEven the Brexiteer element here must surely be asking themselves why this Government is so reluctant to actually have a vote on the legislation it apparently wants to bring.
What I don't get is that if the UK is as subservient to the EU as the Brexiters make out ("I don't think we live in a free, independent country" says Mark Francois) then why doesn't Tusk just overrule Parliament to pass the Deal they've negotiated with the government?
Surely the fact that Parliament has the authority and clout to stymie the Brexit process by failing to accept a deal that the EU want to happen is a massive strike against one of the main cited reasons to leave?

You know full well nobody has run away from an election. For what? Unless we have a General Election that Corbyn ran away from initially then the EU will not agree.
Personally I want a second chance but my selfish preference should have no bearing on the matter.

Because quite simply, we are not. And like pretty every other populist soundbite about how awful the EU is, its hoovered up by folk who like their prejudices proved correct.
Unfortunately they voted against the opportunity just a few weeks ago.
