It's not softer as very little of substance has even been discussed yet. You're talking like this is the end of the story.

It is Bruce. You just need to get up to speed. It’s over, the deal has been done, the EU are on the side of Boris, the people of the U.K. are on the side of Boris, you just need to rethink your position.......

I dont want the limelight. I just expect an ounce of respect!

No one more than me has more respect for the people of Ireland. But it works both ways. When your politicians side with another party against the U.K. then don’t be surprised if there is a backlash.....however, it now looks as if we are all on the same page and we can move on.......

respect because they got you banned?

the only threat to its peace comes from within, no one else is attacking it.....

Your lack of understanding is quite something. The British are the ones who would make the situation volatile, and that’s forgetting the history they’ve had there. And, of course, that part of the island is British!

Much as I dislike Johnson, and his party's politics, I have to admire what he's done.
In the limelight, he comes across as a bungling idiot, but, by all accounts, when he's in a less public environment, unlike May, he's very personable.

I've no idea if this deal will go through parliament, but, if it doesn't, and the result is a second referendum, with the choice between this deal ( or May's deal ) and Remain, then the result of that referendum, has to be legally binding, and, if the majority vote to leave with the deal, then parliament must be obliged to implement it.

Fair enough, I could live with that.....

Let me see...we could be a major part of a union of countries, standing up for our area against the huge countries like USA, India and China OR we can be a lap dog to USA while they feed us on scraps. Hmmm which. One. Do. I. Prefer... o_O

Look at it another way, Germany is financially stronger than the UK. Why don't they free themselves from the EU and create their own trade deals if it's a better way of life? Oh because it isn't. This is about one thing and one thing only, immigration.

No you didn't, pete.

You respect noone's opinion here, as witnessed by tonight's display.

No, I really did think you were a proper poster, I’ll put my hand up and admit I was wrong If you wish.

I respect quite a few peoples opinion on here, more than you can imagine, and I think that those I do also know that I do so.....
