Few on here would miss it so what’s the problem....

It would be sad for the island we share and common bonds we have, broken up just to sort out an internal Tory party issue and the lies sold to a public who don't know what the final outcome of all this.

I can see why you as a Tory voter would want this, that is 56 or so SNP gone, along with the NI MPs that should make getting a majority much easier in future. But as we have seen now, without credible opposition it leads to basket case governments.

Politically it doesn’t really matter. If Boris gets a deal, he will win any resultant GE. If he doesn’t get a deal through or the U.K. Parliament rejects it, he say he tried for the U.K. and will win any resultant GE.....
Why, if the UK is now in a weaker position to negotiate than we were before, as you consistently keep telling us is consequence of the Benn Act, would the EU be offering a deal better than the Withdrawal Agreement that you hated?

Bizarre that the UK position on the 'easiest deal in history' has gone from 'holding all the cards' and being begged for a deal by the EU and German car industry, to celebrating any old deal, which will demonstrably worse than anything previously negotiated by the UK and the EU.

I could understand the 'lets get the best deal we can' logic and even the 'to hell with it' No Deal option, but I do not understand this acceptance of any deal no matter how much we concede.

In Brexit terms, Boris and his cronies have snatched surrender from the jaws of defeat.

*Johnson - I can't wait for the next ten years of just getting the deal done.

Good for you. Twenty-eight cases of voter fraud in 2018 ; as I say, I'm sure it's just a benevolent act.

I recall the story of the Trump voter in the US in 2016 that was so certain those low-down dirty Democrats would be up to electoral mischief that she made sure she voted several times to pre-emptively counteract their skullduggery.

So, reading between the lines, I think we may be close to major breakthrough

EU have said there will be nothing signed until Boris has got deal agreed by HoC, understandable given May's WA and subsequent vanish act

EU have said there will be another summit on 28 Oct, but if they want something that has been passed by HoC, they will need to get the agreement agreed in principle tonight
